2.   Appointment of Investor cum Terminal Operator for Operation of the NCT on SOT Basis, CPA.

(Responsibilities: In addition to those mentioned above, select/appoint operator through competitive bidding; full range of project management services from green field to brown field.)

The project involved selection/ appointment of operator on Supply, Operate & Transfer (SOT) basis. Project Cost US$ 210 million.

 

  1. Construction of 5 km Inland Jetty cum Bank Protection Wall at Sadarghat, CPA. (Responsibilities: In addition to those above mentioned responsibilities, Preparation of Tender Document, appoint Contractor/ Consultant & act as the Engineer in the contract for construction.)

The Project involved construction of a Quay wall cum Inland Jetty using sheet pile, 3 million cum dredging, 20 HA land reclamation at a cost of US $ 40 million. Up to design & bidding process.

4.          Feasibility Study for Construction of a Deep Sea Port in Bangladesh.

(Responsibilities: Similar to those mentioned above, full responsibility as Project Director)

The project involved Techno Economic Feasibility Study at a cost of US $ 2 million.

The project involved development of different mathematical models such as Mike 11, Mike 21, System 21 Curvilinear, Mike 20 NS, Sediment Transport Models etc. for the Karnafuli River (72km) and its Entrance.
